1. I think I followed the rule pretty well, the tiles in a line leading up to the subject,
2. Raidey
3. Yes, the subject is clear because the lines are leading you to her, your eyes follow until they get to the subject.
Simplicity:
1. The rule was followed pretty well, i had the subjects which were the hearts and a plain background to emphasize that.
2. The subject is the three hearts in the center of the photo
3. yes, because the image isn't busy it is clear to see what the subject is.
Rule of Thirds:
1. really well, this is actually my favorite picture that i took.
2. Raidey is the subject
3. Yes, it is clear to see that she is the subject, the wall behind her emphasizes that as well.
4. i wish i could have gotten her face, however, the picture still looks pretty cool.
Balance:
1. i feel like i got the gist of the rule but it isn't that great
2. the subject are the two flags and i feel like thats pretty easy to see because they are the only two big images in the frame
3.Yes its pretty clear
4. the image is a little crooked, not by a lot but its noticeable to me and its kind of bugging me now.
Framing:
1. The rule was followed
2. the subject is raidy
3. I think that she is so small so its hard to see that she is the subject but she is also the only person in the frame so that makes it easier to see that she is the subject.
4. I wish that i could have made her stand out a little bit more.
Avoiding Mergers:
1. The rule was followed, it is clear to see that this is a bad merger
2. the subject is supposed to be raidy but with the merger rule, 3. its supposed to be hard to tell that its her because of the bad mergering.
4. I wish that it was a bit more centered to make it look like the plant is coming directly out of her head instead of it being a bit off.
STEP 3, OVERALL REFLECTION:
I had never worked with a camera before, unless it was on my phone, so I felt a bit clueless in the beginning but once i had gotten the hang of it i found out it was actually pretty easy. Some of the rules were a little harder to follow than others because it was hard to get just the right background for the shot. It was also difficult trying to find the right angle. There were actually some instances when i had to bend down, or sit on the floor just to get the perfect shot. Overall I had a lot of fun taking pictures and learning how to make them look better.
